Manual

Like a Ford assembly line, there are several streams
which all have to come together in the end to produce a
complete, finished product.  Our production method
allows different team members to work together or on
separate streams as required.

Remember, a lot of other people will be trying to do the
same things, at the same time.  Try and be as self
contained as you can.  A handsaw may be faster than
waiting in line for a power saw.  Check the tool page
showing recommended auxiliary equipment.

Power is a problem.  Don't expect to be able to plug-in
at your table.  As you may have noticed watching any
hockey game, ice surfaces have a major shortage of
plug-ins.  There will be a station to plug-in your
recharger's for cordless drills so please label or better
yet engrave your phone number on your batteries and
recharger.

A quick word about communal tools.

Patients,                 Precognition,                Prepared

Accept that it might take a minute to get to the head of
the line to use communal tools.  Use the time to think
about your next move.  Know what's coming next.
Having a team member standing in line before you're
actually ready is OK, but if they get to the head of the
line before they have the part, your team must pass to
the next person who is ready.  When it is your turn at a
tool, be ready.  Have the piece oriented so the cut mark
goes on the table right side up.  Be courteous to your
fellow builders, minimize the time you have to stand at
the actual tool.
